Located in the lower part of Republic Street, Victoria is Villa Rundle Garden, planted by, and named, after the British General Leslie Rundle around 1915. Hosting a variety of native and imported trees, nowadays, through carefully selected planting, the garden is divided in several parts accordance with the seasons. It also incorporates a playing area, a visitors’ centre and an area dedicated to open-air activities.
