Rising and twisting out of the round hill it is formed on, il-Qolla s-Safra (the Yellow Hillock) stands slightly inland between Qbajjar Bay and Masalforn Bay. The very top section is made of a different material, shape and size. Approaching it correctly the Yellow Hillock can be climbed. Massive Quartz/Chert crystals of different colours and forms can be found on the hill. Its angled top also has multi-coloured burnt sandstone and other minerals. Up from the top one has a beautiful view of the area.
