Il-Qattara (The Dripper) is a rare freshwater natural pool that’s a haven for a diverse assortment of flora and fauna. It is located in Dwejra along the eastern wall of the hollow that is connected by an intermittent watercourse to the Inland Sea. A perennial spring seeps through the wall (via a man-made ledge carved into the rock) feeding the pool all year round so it never dries out completely.
