Il-Ġebla ta’ Sansuna, meaning ‘rock of the giantess’ is a large slab, propped at an angle located in the outskirts of the village of Xagħra. It is thought to be a collapsed dolmen of the Bronze Age, but this is by no means certain. Even less certain is the local tradition that assigns it to a giantess in the distant past.
