This is a small shallow inland lagoon with a small pebbly beach enjoyed by swimmers, snorkelers and divers alike. The enclosed bay is directly linked to the sea through an impressive canyon. Visitors can take a boat trip from the little jetty out to the open sea through this natural tunnel in the cliffs. Once outside the tunnel the cliffs rise magnificently out of the water and the boatmen roam leisurely around the several caves, which dot the coast. The numerous rock formations, coves and drop offs make it one of the most spectacular dive sites in Europe. The variety of fish found in these waters is also a major attraction. The dive at the Inland Sea includes some stunning lighting effects created by the sunlight hitting the water.
