On the north-east coast below Nadur and Qala is Daħlet Qorrot, a small inlet nestled between the cliffs. A few boat houses still line the shore serving as storage for the local fishermen’s fishing gear and colourful boats. The tranquil ambience with clear blue waters surrounded with beautiful nature makes it a popular local swimming spot. It has a very small sandy beach, as well as rocks and a concrete platform to sunbathe on. In addition the craggy coastline and clear waters make it a perfect site for snorkelling and diving. The bay provides a handful of benches which are shaded by some trees as well as a public rest room but there are no deckchairs and umbrellas to rent. In summer there is also a snack bar facility.
